Bulova is one of America's most respected watch brands. Established in 1875 in a humble jewelry shop in New York City, Bulova watches have been part of a America's watch heritage for a long time. Bulova watches have gone to war and to the moon with Americans. In 2008, the brand became part of Citizens, but Bulova continues to be headquartered in New York and create designs here in the United States. Over the years, I've been impressed by Bulova watches and have incorporated several into my collection. Still others remain in my imagination as grail watches. One of the great things about Bulova watches is that they offer an attainable brand of luxury that most of consumers can save up for and purchase.
Here are some of the best Bulova watches that I have found on Amazon:
Bulova Aerojet 4-Hand Automatic
The Bulova Aerojet is a revival of a Bulova watch series from the 1950s and 1960s. Vintage Aerojets are beautiful watches, but, like many watches of the era, they have a small diameter of about 35mm. Today's Bulova Aerojet watches have much more contemporary dimensions. For example, my favorite Aerojet has a 41mm diameter case and a retro dial design that is amazing.

This is one of my current grail watches. I love the swoop of the Aerojet font, the dial design, and the color combination. You can check it out here on my Amazon link.
Bulova Frank Sinatra "Fly Me To The Moon" Automatic
Bulova's American heritage signs through in unique watches like the ones in their Frank Sinatra collection. While each of these watches is special and worth checking out, I think the flagship for this series is the Frank Sinatra "Fly Me To the Moon" Automatic. Nods to music's "Chairman of the Board" include a rendition of his signature on the dial, the silhouette of his hat on the crown and exhibition caseback, the song title on the inside of the leather strap, and the rich vintage style.

Even the display boxes for these Frank Sinatra watches are pretty special. To check his watch out on Amazon, just click on "Fly Me To The Moon."
Bulova Men's Archive Series 6-Hand Lunar Pilot Chronograph
As a brand, Bulova can "Fly You To the Moon" and visit the moon for awhile. Somewhere on the moon must lie the crystal of astronaut David Scott's government issued Omega Speedmaster. Fortunately, he had a personal Bulova chronograph as backup and, on August 2, 1971, it became the first and only private wristwatch worn on the moon. Bulova has updated that watch with a high speed and super accurate 262 kHz Precisionist quartz movement and reissued it as the Bulova Men's Archive Series Lunar Pilot Chronograph.

This one comes with an extra velcro strap similar to the one that landed with Commander Scott. To find this watch out on Amazon, just click on "Bulova Men's Archive Lunar Pilot."
Bulova Men's Precisionist
If you are looking for an affordable technical marvel, the Bulova Men's 3-Hand Calendar watch is it.

The movement is high tech with a fast 262 khz frequency that allows the second hand to sweep smoothly around the dial. It's an actual wonder for less than $300. You can check it out here on Amazon.
With Bulova's long history and strong designs and technology, I'll be adding more watches to this page in the coming weeks.
