O.K. There is one luxury watch brand that I've been drooling over lately. It's Nivada Grenchen. I like almost all of their watches. They are just beautiful. For example look at this Nivada Grenchen Mecaquartz Black watch. It has to be the most vintage cool new watch on the planet. Nivada Grenchen was originally established in 1926, played a role in antarctic expeditions, and was reborn in 2020.

The dial has tachymeter watch markings just outside the minute track. The bezel has timezone markings to allow for some quick mental gymnastics to figure out the time in various cities around the world. The leather strap and the overall design simply exude vintage style.
The TMI VK63A Mecaquartz movement is a hybrid that brings together quartz and mechanical technology. The watch uses a quartz movement for keeping time with the hours and minutes and an automatic mechanical movement for running the stopwatch second hand. The watch is attainably priced at $529 on the Nivada-Grenchen website, but is currently sold out. Currently, it's a dream I visit from time to time.
