Watch Wearing Wednesday: Fossil Rhett Chronograph with Navy Blue Dial and Leather Strap

Here's an interesting watch to wear around town.  It's a Fossil Rhett  Chronograph with a navy blue dial, a date window, and a leather strap.  According to the caseback, the watch has a stainless steel case a nice rose gold tone.  Of course, it's not actually gold because I found it at Ross for only $59.99.

I like this watch because it has a old nautical look that, on some primal level, harkens back to the age of sail.  I think the gold tone on the subdials, the hands, and the marker batons, really classes up this watch.

If this watch grabs your attention, you might still find it on Amazon as the Fossil Rhett Chronograph.

Wristwatch Review: Fossil Nate Chronograph Watch for Men

For a Halloween treat, I've dug up this spooky photo of my Fossil Nate Chronograph watch.  It's a solid, rugged, quartz watch with military-inspired looks.  As you can see this watch doesn't shrink in the face of silver skulls or Magic Voodoo potions!

Read on, if you dare, for a short review of the Fossil Nate.
Perhaps, if you like, buying it will be your fate!

A Fossil Nate Wristwatch

This ain't no "boyfriend" watch.  It's not gold, it's not girly.  The Fossil Nate is big, bad ass, and action-oriented.  It ain't afraid of no ghost.  The watch feels like a solid block of stainless steel.  While the bezel doesn't rotate, it does have gear-like teeth that harken back to the abandoned factory at the edge of town.  The numbers and hashmarks evoke the classic military-style watches that have recently surged in popularity.  The case is 46 millimeters in diameter and just a tad thicker than more gentlemanly watches.  Should a wicked witch drop you in a well, this Fossil Nate chronograph offers 100 meters of water resistance.  Overall, it's a watch that I really like.  However, it's being supplanted by slightly more streamlined Fossil models.  If you like this design, I found the Fossil Nate with a black leather strap here on Amazon.

Fossil Watches for Christmas

F is for Fossil in my collection.  If you want to see a lot of great watches in one place, find out if there is a Fossil Outlet at your nearest outlet mall.  You'll find lots of great watches at reasonable prices.  Fossil watches make great Christmas gifts.  I have two really cool Fossil watches in my collection.  The first is a classic retro design call the Fossil Ansel.  It looks like a watch from 70s with more contemporary dimensions.

My second Fossil watch is the Fossil Decker.  It looks like a vintage bronze watch that is fit for a sea captain.  It's a classic look.  It makes a great gift because it has a rich character.
