A Franck Muller "Long Island" Watch |
If these are out of your price range, Muller's design influence is felt throughout the horological world. For example the famed Invicta Lupah series of watches brings a modern twist to the case form.
Beyond that, Frank Miura watches bear a resemblance to Muller's design, but with perhaps with a bit more funkiness to fit the sub-$100 price point.
While I am not a big fan of this case shape, I like the diversity that this school of design adds to watch collecting. I am completely in favor of unique watches that reflect the style choices of the wearer.
