Three Great Birthday Gift Watches for Men

My birthday is coming up and my wife is thinking about buying me a watch!  Woohoo!  That's always exciting news.  She's found about ten really cool candidates so I thought I'd share a few of those over the next couple of posts.  Right now, here are three of the leading candidates for my next birthday watch.

Michael Kors Mens Dylan Navy Silicone Watch

This Michael Kors watch has a brilliant blue dial with three subdials and a nifty date window at 6 o'clock. I'm pretty sure that this will be a supremely comfortable watch due to the silicone band.  Some folks think silicone bands are cheap, but I think they are great.  They are just super comfortable!  This case is 48 millimeters in diameter.  I've seen the Dylan watch before and it's a very nice looking timepiece.

Diesel continues to make innovative watches.  This design brings sophisticated dial design to the table.  It has three sub-dials and a panoramic date window.  It's a rugged looking watch and it should be comfortable due to the silicone band.   Like most Diesel watches, this one is big.  It has a 51 millimeter diameter dial that is 15 millimeters thick.  It's a big watch, but I should be able to wear it well.

Finally, for this post, this Nautica NSF Flag watch has a very cool nautical look.  I've seen a variant of this watch before and it always looks good.  This one comes with a different colored strap for variety.  In truth, I'd never wear this watch with a red strap, but it's a cool watch.  This one also has silicone straps and has a screw down crown and 100 meters of water resistance.  The case diameter is 44 millimeters and it is 12 millimeters thick.  That's just perfect for casual wear.
