A Vintage Bulova for Ladies

This year we are ringing in the New Year with an old watch.  My wife was going through her jewelry recently and she came across a rare treasure:  a women's vintage Bulova watch.  It was high school graduation gift or anniversary gift for her mother back in the 1960s.  We believe it may date to 1964.

I was able to gently wind this mechanical watch and it kept time for at least 15 minutes before disappearing back into a jewelry box.  It's a nifty family treasure for us.

I looked for similar watches to see how the Bulova tradition of fine women's timepieces has continued into the current day.  Bulova has square watches for women at a variety of different price points.

Interestingly, if you'd like a watch with all of the numbers present on the dial, you might want to take a look at this women's Caravelle by Bulova watch.

All of these women's timepieces carry on the Bulova tradition with no winding required.
