Announcing The Watch Dude Amazon Page

Over the years, I've been looking for ways to present watches that I own, that I like, or that I dream about owning with fellow watch enthusiasts. I'm currently active here on blogger, on Twitter, and a little bit on Pinterest. Now, I've discovered the capability to create an Amazon page.  It can serve as a "General Store" for this corner of the watch world.

This will allow me to showcase my watch photos and link them to products that you can get on Amazon. Photo show & tell is not something that Google particularly likes me to do. It also let's me bring together idea lists of related products (like minimalist watches) or make collages to support various themes and present them to you.

As a creator, I find that fun.  As readers, you may find it an easy way to find great choices in various watch themes. That's why I'd like to introduce Watch Dude's Amazon Page! I hope you enjoy it and bookmark it.  It will be a dynamic Amazon page with lots of new content.  The Amazon page is something that can help support this blog by bringing products together. But, this blog will continue on because it's the place to think and reason about watches and watch topics. Enjoy!

The Watch Dude Blog Hits 1,000,000

Wow! Thank you! We finally hit 1,000,000 page views at The Watch Dude Blog. I want to thank each and every visitor to this blog. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and I hope you found some helpful watch reviews, some good deals, and other cool content. It's been a long journey since my first post way back on July 30, 2011. This blog is the result of thirteen years of on (and off) blogging about affordable wristwatches. 

What's Next for The Watch Dude?

I'm not stopping. I've got plenty of posts in the pipeline. Lately, I've been finding some excellent deals on inexpensive watches on Amazon, at InvictaStores.com, and in traditional brick-n-mortar stores like Burlington, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, and Walmart.  I'm also on the lookout for some attainable dream watches.  I keep an eye on brands like Bulova and Tissot.  But, brands like Nivada Grenchen and LIV Watches are also making their way into my advertising feeds and junk emails.  I can dream and one day I might pull the trigger on a nice watch that is a bit of stretch.

I'm also expanding the reach of this blog on social media.  I've recently rejoined watchfreeks.com and you can follow me on X (TheWatchDude@the_watch_dude).  These communities give me a chance to see your collections and give me great ideas for future purchases.  In the future, I may even dip my toes into an X channel or a Youtube channel.  

This would be a good time to note that I'm not the only watch dude on these interwebs.  On Instagram, there is an account for thewatch_dude (https://www.instagram.com/thewatch_dude/) and he posts some very cool watch photos.

Announcing A New Domain Name For This Watch Blog!

Tonight, after years of blogging about watches with a simple blogger URL, I have finally upgraded to a full blown domain name.  We haven't talked to any marketing consultants, lawyers, copyright specialists, numerologists, or psychics.  But, I think the new domain will work.  It should be easier for everyone to remember and hopefully it will expand this blogs readership.

We had hoped that Danica Patrick might endorse us.  But, we blew a whole $12 on the domain registration.  So, we'll have to announce the new name for this blog about mens watches without a lot of fanfare.  But, perhaps we could get a drum roll for our new name please. . .
