On a recent visit to a CVS drugstore, I saw an end cap display of Waltham brand watches. Some of them looked pretty good for the low price of $9.99. They might make a good Christmas gift for a kid. They'd also be just fine if you just need to tell time!

I own a Waltham watch that's from CVS. It's the one 24 hour numberings below the standard daytime numerals. It's really not a bad basic watch. I've had people compliment me for wearing a nice and simple watch. Heck, they think I blew $40-60 for it!
