Another Great Men's Dress Watch from Walmart

I recently found another cool dress watch at Walmart.  This one was only $12.88.  While it isn't as nice as my Pulsar, Bulova, or Seiko watches, it works well in an office environment and looks nice.  You can read more about it in my review:

  1. Hi! I just today bought the watch pictured at walmart, I love it, but the price tag was ripped off the side, and while it was on a Elgin stand, it doesn't have the Elgin name on it anywhere. I got home and searched a bit more for information on the watch, and couldn't find a single sale or image of this watch, except for yours...

My problem is that it rang up for $85 total, and you said you paid $13 for it... so I have no idea what is going on here...

  2. I suspect that a shoplifter switched this inexpensive watch for a more expensive Elgin. Unfortunately, if you didn't catch it at the register, you might not get your money back. The return desk clerk may think you are trying a bait and switch.

  3. I actually went up to walmart today, and explained the situation, pointint out the missing tag, the lack of the name, and showing them a printout of the blog... they looked through the case, then we went and looked at the $12 watches, and surely enough, there were blue faced watches that were identical in style... Fortunately, they believed me, and I received a $71 refund (if they hadn't believed me, I would have waited until the girl who sold it to me was there, I took awhile, and was choosing between this and a similar Armitron watch, she would have remembered me)... It was a bit of an annoyance, but it makes for a great story!
